In reference to Doctor Who in Primeval, the notion that the Locking Mechanism reverses the polarities of an Anomaly, is reference to the Third Doctor's catchphrase was, "Reverse the polaritiy of the neutron flow".
Peter Anderson Studios designed both the Primeval Series 1-3 Title Sequances and also both Title Sequences for Doctor Who Series 7 Parts 1 and 2.
Primeval has been on the cover of SFX Magazine twice!
Series 1 Episode 1
Primeval was originally going to be called Cutter's Beasts and was going to be on BBC One but the BBC were bringing back Doctor Who and weren't interested in two Sci-fi shows so it went to iTV and renamed Primeval.
Series 4 Episode 1
When Primeval was revived for a fourth and fifth series, production had moved to Ireland and UKTV was paying for the show as ITV had financial issues which caused their finantial backing of the show going to UKTV and being aired now also on Watch (now W).
The scene in the arena when Abby turns on the DJ set, originally the SClub7 song Don't Stop Movin' was playing but in the DVD version it was replaced with generic dance music due to the original song being copyrighted. |

Primeval Series 4 and Series 5
Philip Burton who is played by Alexander Sigg is famailiar to some viewers by staring most notably in Star Trek - Deep Space Nine and Atlantis.
Primeval New World
Stargate's Amanda Tapping directed three episodes of Primeval New World
